- Description
- In this dissertation the unsteady transient free convective flow of second grade fluid with mass transfer and wall transpiration was studied. The governing equations, which consists of continuity, mass and momentum equations, were derived by using the conservation law. The governing equations were transformed into nondimensional governing equations by using the non-dimensional variables. The numerical solutions of the non-dimensional governing equations were obtained with the help of finite difference method. These solution satisfy all imposed initial and boundary conditions. The numerical results of velocity and concentration profiles with the effects of wall injection or suction parameter, second grade fluid viscoelastic parameter, Schmidt number and modified Grashof number were plotted and analysed. The results show that with increasing wall suction, viscoelastic parameter and Schmidt number, the velocity and concentration profiles decreased. The results also shown that the velocity profiles increased by increasing the values of modified Grashof number and decreasing the values of wall injection
